These colorful organic cotton covers are perfect for keeping your organic futon or shikibuton clean, chemical-free, and looking great. They’re machine washable and pre-shrunk. These organic covers feature a concealed zipper and are sewn with mitered corners for a snug fit. Because everyone’s monitor is a little different, be aware that actual colors may vary a bit from the photos. Contact us for swatches if you’d like to see and feel the fabric in person. Fabric choices include:

  • DUCK: Strong, thick and durable, this upholstery-grade 9-ounce duck cotton fabric is GOTS-certified and OEKO-TEX standard 100-certified. It’s sustainably processed and finished, and use water-soluble dyes and pigments for coloration. The fabric feel is similar to denim, and increases in comfort with age just like your favorite jeans.
  • TWILL: Upholstery-grade GOTS-certified 7 oz. organic cotton twill is soft, strong and durable and available in a wide variety of colors.
  • BLEND: This very durable OEKO-TEX certified upholstery-grade 45% organic cotton / 55% recycled polyester fabric was developed for easy spot cleaning and engineered for abrasion resistance.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash in water not exceeding 30°C (86° Fahrenheit). Do not bleach. Drip dry in shade only; do not expose to direct or indirect sunlight. Do not tumble dry or wring. Iron on medium heat, if needed. Put cover back on futon/shikibuton when slightly damp. Vacuum regularly, and for best performance rotate cushions periodically.
