This organic latex mattress topper features a 3″ core of chemical-free GOLS-certified organic Dunlop rubber inside a zippered covere made with pure, organically processed eco wool quilted to European damask organic cotton on the top, and organic cotton damask fabric on the under-side. Elastic corner straps hold the topper in place, which makes it easy to take the topper off to air outside, or to travel with you. Latex toppers compress less than toppers made with wool, so they’re more resistant to body impressions.
Not only is the topper comfortable, but it’s also breathable, naturally repellent to dust mites, flame retardant and bacteria resistant. An organic topper can act as a buffer between you and a synthetic mattress, a soft topper can add extra comfort to a firm mattress, or if ordered with firm rubber can make a too-soft mattress more comfortable. The topper is spot-clean only, so if you have a child or bed-wetter sleeping on it we recommend adding a water-resistant moisture barrier or puddle pad for protection.
- Available with medium rubber (30 ILD) to make an aging mattress more comfortable, soft rubber (19 ILD) for a pillow-top feel, or firm rubber (36 ILD) to firm-up a mattress that’s too soft. Please note that we do not recommend that young babies sleep on a soft topper.
