Nature's Carpet Natural Carpet & Rugs
Nature’s Carpet’s non-toxic “Dark Green” carpet is chemical-free and made from renewable resources. The face fibers are 100% undyed wool from New Zealand and Europe; and the carpet features natural jute backing and a natural rubber adhesive system. It is one of the most environmentally friendly and healthy flooring products available today. Its wool fibers are soft on the feet, quiet, easy to clean, and durable. Most wool carpets will last 20-30 years, whereas synthetic carpet is typically replaced in 5-7 years due to staining and wear. Also, most wool carpet on the market today is made with toxic adhesives, synthetic dyes, and treated with pesticides.
RUGS: Area rugs from Nature’s Carpet area rugs are also available. See links below for standard sizes or contact us with your custom dimensions and we will reply with a quote. Nature’s Carpet rugs typically take about 2-3 weeks to produce.

FREE SHIPPING to a commercial location in the lower 48 states for Nature’s Carpet rugs and carpet orders of 50 sq yd or more. Residential delivery, clearance items, carpet orders under 50 sq yd, and less than three rolls padding purchased without carpet do not qualify for free shipping, see product links below for more details or contact us. Note that heavy lifting will be required to remove carpet from the truck/trailer, and/or to the home; and truck drivers are not required to help. Carpet weighs about 5 to 6 lb. per sq. yd. so it’s much easier for homeowners to have carpet delivered to a commercial location that the installer has access to.
CARPET INSTALLERS: To find a certified floor covering installer in your area, visit the International Certified Flooring Installers Association. and the Natural Fiber Installer Certification directory. Other good referral sources are the Better Business Bureau, Angie’s List, Yelp, and local Facebook groups; and we have had very good luck asking local home builders, architects and remodeling contractors for a referral to their favorite installer.
SEAM TAPE: To make sure your installed carpet remains as pure as possible, ask your installer to use a low-VOC seam tape. One that we’ve used successfully is made by Premier Tape Products. Premier also carries low-VOC glue sticks if your installation requires the addition of tack strips around the room edges.

Actual color may be different than it appears online. No warranty is made as to individual reactions, physical or otherwise, regarding this carpet and its effects. As the product uses natural wool and natural backing, we do not warrant for smells or odors; or variances in color, shade and texture. Due to the flexible nature of the material, there can be a one-inch variability in dimensions of finished rugs.

8/25/25 – Nature’s Carpet “Dark Green” styles are being transitioned to an SBR-free adhesive called Ceneva. This product is made from (vinegar), and is ultra-low-VOC and more durable than the natural rubber adhesive they previously used. These carpets and rugs are extensively tested and certified for low-VOC emissions, odors and chemicals. Read more about Ceneva. Some current inventory was made with natural rubber and some with Ceneva. If you would like to check which is available, contact us with the style and color you are considering.
