Their Nature-Loc rug pad, which combines a 1/4 inch layer of natural wool with a thin layer of natural rubber, will enhance your area rug’s comfort and performance. The unique pad provides the comfort of carpet padding with a safe, non-skid foundation. It’s especially well-suited to Oriental rugs, as well as the wonderful wool area rugs made by Earth Weave and Nature’s Carpet.
Unlike similar pads made with synthetic rubber and “felt” made from who-knows-what fiber, the natural rubber and natural wool in Nature-Loc are excellent health and environmental choices. And rubber is a renewable resource, originating in South America from natural latex which is tapped from the Hevea Brasiliensis—commonly known as a rubber tree.
It was practically impossible to find a natural fiber rug pad, especially one that had nonslip and felt integrated. I was so relieved that you carried one that was cut to size, and now that we have it, it has surpassed our expectations. The Nature-Loc rug pad is made exclusively for Earth Weave, and there are no toxic substances or chemicals used in manufacturing. It will not stain any type of floor, and can be ordered in standard rug sizes from 2×3 to 10×14, or custom-cut to fit any rug up to 15 feet wide.
